Joseph Goldburd, Esq., the founding partner of Goldburd McCone LLP, has practiced law since 1976. He earned his LL.M. from New York University and his J.D. from New York Law School. After working at Becker & London and Ernst & Whinney (now Ernst & Young), he founded Goldburd McCone in 1983. Since then, he has successfully represented individual and business taxpayers in all areas of tax law. He has been recognized as one of the Top 100 Tax Lawyers in the State of New York by the American Society of Legal Advocates (ASLA).
Steven Goldburd, Esq.,
was Managing Attorney at the Law Offices of Donald G. Koch prior to joining our firm. He also worked at Deloitte & Touche LLP, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Geller & Company. Steven earned his LL.M. from New York Law School and his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law. In 2016, Steven was selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers Rising Stars. He has been interviewed by the Washington Post, U.S. News & World Report, AARP and other media outlets. He has also been quoted in The Huffington Post.

Benjamin Goldburd, Esq., worked in accounting and private equity before joining our firm.
While attending Fordham University School of Law, he worked as a student-attorney in Fordham's tax clinic, where he represented taxpayers. Benjamin has provided general tax advice to readers of Mishpacha Magazine.
Shammai Bienenstock is a retired Administrative Law Judge at the Appeals Office of the IRS. Prior to that, he was a Revenue Agent as well as a Formal Instructor for newly hired Revenue Agents. Shammai retired from the IRS after more than 30 years of service. He is also an accounting and auditing professor at Touro College. He received his M.B.A from New York University and his Bachelor of Science in accounting from Brooklyn College.
